Carnival Cruise Line announced that it will have 4 liners homeported in Galveston TX for year-round passenger shipping operations, beginning 2021.

Carnival Breeze will also return to Galveston TX from Port Canaveral FL, becoming the newest and biggest ship to operate a short program from the port. Carnival Dream will shift to 6- and 8-day Caribbean cruises while Carnival Vista will go on with her popular week-long Caribbean sailings.

With these 4 ships, Carnival Cruise Line is expected to carry an estimated 900,000 passengers per year from Galveston – more than any other cruise line – on a total of 235 five- to 14-day cruises a year, providing a variety of cruise destinations, durations, and amenities from Texas.
