Carnival Boosts Capacity in Alaska for 2021

Carnival Cruise Line revealed it will homeport Carnival Freedom in Seattle WA for 2021 Alaskan itineraries - along with Carnival Miracle.

Carnival Freedom offers a total of 21 Alaskan roundtrips from Seattle beginning April 27, 2021. The ship will sail every Tuesday on a 7-day "Glacier Route" itinerary visiting Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan and Victoria (BC Canada), Tracy Arm Fjord (scenic cruising). Freedom will also operate one 8-day itinerary visiting Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Icy Strait Point, Victoria BC, Tracy Arm Fjord.

Carnival Freedom will be then relocated to homeport Fort Lauderdale Florida via 17-day Panama Canal repositioning voyage on September 22, 2021 (RepositionCruises.com). From Florida will be operated 6- and 8-day Eastern and Southern Caribbean roundtrips.

During season 2021, Carnival Miracle joins Freedom in Alaska - after Carnival's first year-round homeporting in San Francisco California in 2020. The liner will operate 10-day cruises to Alaska from San Francisco, visiting Juneau, Skagway, Icy Strait Point (or Ketchikan), Victoria BC, Tracy Arm. The 11-day itineraries visit both Ketchikan and Icy Strait Point.
