Continuing the longstanding support of military men and women, Carnival Cruise Line, carrying more active and retired military personnel than any other cruise company, debuted the first-of-its-kind venue on Carnival Panorama that salutes military heroes - the “Heroes Tribute Bar."
President of Carnival Cruise Line, Christine Duffy, was joined by military personnel and veterans aboard Carnival Panorama’s inaugural voyage for the grand opening celebration and toast to the line’s extended military family of employees and guests. Duffy added that a portion of the proceeds from the brand new entertainment spot will benefit Carnival partner, Operation Homefront, which is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to building stable and secure military families.
Carnival Panorama's venue features a distinctive All-American decor and logos of the 5 armed service branches of the United States military as well as military and patriotic memorabilia throughout. The walls of the venue are lined with messages and photos centering on 3 main themes: America’s Heroes, Welcome Home, and Thank You for Your Service.
Specialty cocktails will be served in a custom pint glass. A portion of each sale will benefit Operation Homefront. Pint glasses are available for purchase. The concept will initially be featured exclusively on Carnival Panorama, but Duffy said the line would look to amplify the spirit of Heroes Tribute Bar at special moments across the entire fleet.
