A-Rosa River Cruises restart Rhine-Danube itineraries in May

A-ROSA River Cruises announced it will likely restart Rhine and Danube itineraries for select departures around May 31, 2020. Arosa is Rostock Germany-based river cruise line brand owned (since 2018) by the UK-based Duke Street Capital (headquartered in London England).

The news comes following the announcements from the Austrian and German authorities regarding the relaxation of lockdown measures, including the reopening of restaurants, hotels, river cruises, and day cruises for tourists, which is due to come into place before the end of the month.

A-ROSA's medical crews are currently working on a health and hygiene concept that incorporates the current distancing regulations and safety measures for its passengers and crew members.

The cruise company said it is continuously monitoring the requirements of local authorities in several countries and further information relating to sailings in Portugal and France will be announced in due course.
