On July 22, 2020, The Carnival Corporation-owned premium brand Princess Cruises is launching Fall 2021 - Spring 2022 itinerary program with Panama Canal transits.

Princess Cruises Panama Canal voyages are scheduled on 3 liners (including MedallionClass). In 1967, Princess became the first cruise company to offer passing through Panama Canal locks. The Princess Panama Canal ships are custom-built to safely navigate the unique inland waterway. The first large cruise liner to sail through the new Agua Clara locks was Caribbean Princess (in 2017-Q3).

For the upcoming 2021-2022 cruise season, 3 Princess ships will sail the Panama Canal with a total of 17 departures and 4 different itineraries. Sailings range from 10 to 15 days and visit 17 destinations in 8 countries.
