In autumn 2020, CroisiEurope's riverboat MS Mistral will be cruising in two of France's most beautiful regions - Provence and Burgundy.

On her way from Chalon-sur-Saone to Martigues, the ship sails on two rivers - Saone and Rhone. Historic port cities - like Lyon, Arles, Avignon - are part of the itinerary program, along with trips to the Burgundy vineyards and Camargue nature reserve. The 7-day cruisetour is scheduled on various dates in September-October and is priced from EUR 1028 per person (double occupancy).

MS Mistral's passengers will find out how wine is grown in Beaujolais at the start of the sailing when the ship docks in Macon. A trip takes them to the “Hameau du Vin” museum village situated in the middle of the vineyards. The sailing continues to the metropolis of Lyon, which, in addition to evidence of its 2000-year-old history, draws attention with modern architecture. There the Saone flows into the Rhone, on which MS Mistral heads for the wine town of Tournon-sur-Rhone (Tain l'Hermitage). Another trip is the Ardeche gorges. The “Grand Canyon” of France can be observed at the “Pont-d'Arc”, a 34-metre high natural arch bridge. On her way to Avignon, MS Mistral will pass the largest Rhone lock system. With the Roman city of Arles and the old papal city of Avignon, highlights of Provence await the cruisers. The voyage ends in Martigues (approx 30 km west of Marseille).

In Fall 2020, The 7-day itinerary from Chalon-sur-Saone to Martigues runs August 21-27, September 2-8, September 23-29 and October 5-11. MS Mistral will operate the reverse route (from Martigues to Chalon) from October 11 through 17. The voyage is priced from EUR 1028 per person (double occupancy). Ticket prices are also inclusive of all shore excursions, onboard meals and bar drinks.
