Following Costa Deliziosa and Costa Diadema, from October 10, Costa Smeralda will also restart cruise shipping. For Smeralda, Costa Cruises designed a new 7-day roundtrip (Italy-only) itinerary.

A total of 5 departures (scheduled from October 10 through November 7) allow Italian travelers to visit only Italian port cities from which to enjoy land-based attractions and taste the traditional local cuisine.

The itinerary's homeport is Savona, from where are visited Genoa (or Finalborgo), La Spezia (tours to Cinque Terre, Lerici and Florence-Pisa), Cagliari Sardinia and Naples (tours to Pompei, Sorrento, Royal Palace in Caserta) and Messina Sicily (tours to Etna volcano, Taormina, Civitavecchia-Rome, Tarquinia).
