Silversea Cruises' Silver Moon delivered in Ancona, Italy

The contractual delivery of Silversea Cruises' Silver Moon - the 2nd of 3 new ultra-luxury cruise ships Fincantieri is building for the Royal Caribbean Group brand - took place on Friday, October 30, at the Ancona shipyard in Italy.

Silver Moon is a sistership of Silver Muse (2017-built at Sestri Ponente Shipyard) and of Silver Dawn (currently under construction in Ancona, planned delivery in 2021). At 40,700 GT and max passenger capacity 596, the vessel boasts 298 spacious all-suite cabins - a distinctive feature of Silversea.

The newbuild is the 9th vessel to enter the Silversea Cruises fleet. Once operating, she will push the boundaries of the ultra-luxury segment with new enhancements to the onboard experience, while satisfying the highest standards in terms of comfort, quality, and service.
