With Peruvian borders opening up to international and regional travel, the river cruise company Aqua Expedition announced the resumption of its Peruvian Amazon voyages beginning with the first departure of RV Aria Amazon on December 18, 2020.

Passengers will be able to celebrate with family and friends across 3-, 4-, and 7-night itineraries in unparalleled safety for an adventure in the Amazon rainforest.

As Aqua Expeditions steers into 2021, RV Aqua Nera (the company's newest boat) will launch her much-anticipated inaugural cruise on April 3, 2021. The 20-suite riverboat (custom-designed by Noor Design and Vietnam-built) is sailing the full length of the Amazon to homeport Iquitos Peru following an epic 19866-km long voyage across the Pacific Ocean.

On top of safety protocols imposed by Lima Airport and LATAM Airlines, any passenger traveling with Aqua Expeditions is required to undergo a pre-boarding health assessment on the embarkation day, as well as submit a negative COVID test result, issued no later than 72 hours before the embarkation.
