Adventure Canada announces new 2022 Antarctica expeditions

Antarctica boasts untouched wilderness and breathtaking scenery home to penguins, seals, whales, and numerous species of seabirds, who have adapted to thrive in one of the most severe ecosystems on earth.

Adventure Canada guests have the chance to see the Antarctic peninsula up close: cruise past icebergs, volcanoes, and glaciated mountains by a Zodiac, as well as learn about the history, ecology, and geology from the expedition team.

2022 Adventure Canada Antarctic expeditions are all operated by and presented via partnership with the travel agencies Chimu Adventures (Australia) and Intrepid Travel (England UK). For the Antarctica program, the company charters the ship Ocean Endeavour.

January 7-27, 2022 Antarctica, South Georgia & Falklands Explorer exploring Antarctica, South Georgia Island and the Falkland Islands. Passengers have the chance to walk among king penguins in South Georgia as well as visit the rugged Falkland Islands and Port Stanley.

January 26 - February 8, 2022 Journey to the Circle - travellers cross the Antarctic Circle and can explore the Antarctic Peninsula; see penguins, whales, seals, and albatross; visit the South Shetland Islands.

February 16-26, 2022 Antarctic Whale Journey visiting the subantarctic South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula. Guests have the chance to see breaching whales and icebergs.
