CroisiEurope offers private cruises for family and friends

   January 7, 2021 ,   Cruise Industry

CroisiEurope is currently operating six luxury hotel barges sailing on canals in France. With max passenger capacity 22 per boat, these small ships have regularly scheduled departures (with fixed itineraries) but also can be privately chartered (with altered itineraries).

Each journey explores idyllic landscapes, quaint villages, and charming cities in Burgundy, Champagne, Provence, Loire Valley, the Alsace. Fine French wines and French cuisine are paired by the Gourmet Chef. Daily shore excursions are included.

Canal cruising is the best way to explore the country at a leisurely pace. Excursions bring guests to partake in local customs, learn about the history of each region, taste local flavours, and see how French wine is going from vine to table. When not on a tour, guests can take a bicycle for a ride down the canal, or relax in the hot tub on the outdoor terrace.

Chartering one of these 6 motorized barges (Deborah, Daniele, Anne Marie, Madeleine, Raymonde, Jeanine) is an opportunity to travel with family and close friends in a private hotel barge. Vacationers can also join one of the scheduled sailings to meet like-minded travellers for a trip through France.

Note: Most of CruiseMapper's barge cruise ships (excluding CroisiEurope's) are currently grouped in European Waterways.
