Silversea opens sales for new Silver Moon cruises to the Eastern Mediterranean

The ultra-premium brand Silversea opened sales on new voyages aboard Silver Moon ship to the Eastern Mediterranean, departing from Greece from June 18.

The company revealed a collection of 9 cruises (all 10 days in length) scheduled to sail roundtrip from Piraeus-Athens, taking in many of the most beautiful destinations in Greece like Santorini, Paros, Mykonos, Crete (Heraklion), Cyprus (Limassol) and Haifa Israel.

During her inaugural season, the new Silversea flagship Silver Moon is due to take cruisers in the Eastern Med, calling in the most beautiful destinations of the region. To protect passengers’ health and safety, travellers will only be allowed to leave the vessel on Silversea’s verified shore trips which are included in the cruise fare (1 included shore excursion per day, from a selection in each port). Premium verified shore experiences are available at an additional cost.

Offering passengers the possibility of combining cruises for extended exploration, the new collection features the following sample itineraries:

June 18-Jun 28 roundtrip from Piraeus. The maiden voyage of Silver Moon is departing Piraeus (Athens) on June 18, visiting some of Cyprus’ and Greece’s most beautiful destinations, such as Syros Island, Patmos, Paros, Rhodes, Limassol, Heraklion (Crete), Mykonos, prior to sailing back to Piraeus on June 28. 

Jun 28-July 8 round-trip from Piraeus (Athens). After departing Piraeus on June 28, Silver Moon passengers will spend a day at sea. After visiting Limassol in Cyprus, they'll sail on to Ashdod (Jerusalem) and Haifa (Nazareth) in Israel, prior to travelling to Rhodes, Aghios Nikolaos and Souda-Chania (Crete), and Santorini

Full vaccinations are mandatory for passengers and crew members embarking on Silver Moon in Greece, which is part of the comprehensive, multi-layered set of science-backed protocols approved by Royal Caribbean Group’s Healthy Sail Panel and the Greek Ministry of Health. The protocol features enhanced sanitation procedures, increased air filtration, high-quality onboard medical care, and enhanced medical teams on Silver Moon.
