CCL-Carnival launches “La Back To Funna” campaign

CCL-Carnival Cruise Line - "America’s Cruise Line" - is “Back to Fun.”

Coinciding with the debut of fleet's newest ship - Mardi Gras from Port Canaveral (Orlando, Florida), the new add campaign features CCL's "Chief Fun Officer" Shaquille O’Neal as well as an opera singer, to highlight the return to guest operations that includes 5 ships sailing from Texas and Florida, seasonal Alaskan voyages from Seattle WA, and more ships returning over the next weeks.

With the “La Back to Funna” campaign, the unconventional singer reminds passengers of all they have missed on their Carnival journey.

According to Jayne Andrews, senior director – brand and advertising for Carnival, the campaign had to be "a massive signal in the sky that Carnival is Back to Fun and an over-the-top opera singer", and Shaq seemed like the perfect way to celebrate the significant moment for the brand.

The campaign will live across the company’s website, CRM, paid and owned social channels, online videos, other digital media.
