The world's largest cruise shipowner Carnival Corporation announced a new initiative that is making pre-board testing more accessible and convenient for its customers.

The effort facilitates access to pre-cruise COVID viral testing for passengers of the Corporation's subsidiaries CCL-Carnival Cruise Line, HAL-Holland America Line, Princess and Seabourn at 1500+ convenient Quest Diagnostics patient service centers and retail pharmacy testing locations throughout the USA.

The program streamlines pre-cruise preparation for passengers planning to sail aboard Carnival, HAL, Princess, or Seabourn.

Currently, all passengers, regardless of their vaccination status, must present a negative COVID viral test taken no more than 3 days before embarkation, along with additional health & safety requirements.

Beginning September 13 and after, in accordance with CDC directives, all vaccinated passengers must present a negative COVID viral test taken no more than 2 days before embarkation.

The pre-board test (molecular/antigen) is one of the added measures implemented by the company’s lines.

Vacationers may schedule testing with Quest Diagnostics at 1500+ locations, including Quest Diagnostics patient service centers and select Walmart and other retail pharmacies throughout the United States.

Results are typically available within 48 hours via email/mobile application.
