AmaWaterways' newest boat specifically designed for Nile River cruises - AmaDahlia, set sail on her Maiden Voyage in Egypt on September 6th.

Passengers in Luxor were greeted by an Egyptian dervish performance and local musicians before exploring the ship and embarking on a 7-night cruise.

AmaDahlia has 5 decks and 36 passenger staterooms, including 16 suites. Travelers can dine at the Dining Room Restaurant or at The Chef's Table (alfresco restaurant). The boat's Sundeck houses a swimming pool and two Jacuzzies served by a dedicated pool bar.

AmaDahlia's 11-night "Secrets of Egypt and the Nile" itinerary features 3 nights in Cairo's 5-star Four Seasons Hotel Cairo FR (First Residence). Vacationers also stay overnight at Cairo Four Seasons after their voyage and get a private tour and farewell lunch at Abdeen Presidential Palace.

AmaDahlia's cruise deals are inclusive of two domestic flights. Guests first fly from Cairo to Luxor (after the 3 nights in Cairo) for the 7-night roundtrip that visits Aswan (Unfinished Obelisk, Aswan Dam, Philae Temple, Sobek Temple, Haroeri Temple), Edfu (Horus Temple), Luxor, Qena-Dendera (Abydos Temple in Qena, Hathor Temple in Dendera).

Onboard travelers are treated to live traditional entertainment and enrichment lectures by Egyptologists providing insider knowledge about the mysteries that have shaped Egypt.

Optional extensions include 3 nights in Dubai UAE or 4 nights in Jordan (Amman City, Petra) prior to the Egypt trip and 4 nights in Israel (Jerusalem) after it.

AmaDahlia passengers must be fully vaccinated for COVID. For entry into Egypt, they must present a printed negative PCR test and complete and carry an Egyptian health declaration form.
