AmaWaterways AmaDahlia ship cruises on Nile River in Egypt, departing from homeport Luxor. The riverboat is Egypt-flagged and with max passenger capacity 68 (plus 62 staff-crew). The newbuild is currently under construction and scheduled for launch in 2021, with inauguration planned for September. AmaDahlia is AmaWaterways 25th fleet member. In 2021 will be also introduced AmaLucia.
The vessel is unique for having modern design, floor-ceiling windows throughout (in all public venues and most staterooms), spacious Sundeck (with a large swimming pool and two whirlpools), the latest maritime technologies implemented. One Lift (passenger elevator) and midship-located staircase interconnect decks 1-4. The access to Sundeck is stairs-only.
AmaDahlia staterooms (34 total) include 24x full-balcony suites (a rare feature for a Nile cruise ship) each sized between 21-34-37-40 m2 (225-430 ft2). The number of all cabin categories is 7. Max capacity is 2 guests per cabin (all double-occupancy accommodations).
Each passenger cabin offers as standard (complimentary) amenities en-suite bathroom (glass-door shower, rain showerhead, hairdryer, premium bath amenities), mirrored vanity table with chair, large wardrobe, wireless phone, electronic safe box (in the closet), two long-range portable Wi-Fi audio devices (used on tours/excursions), complimentary bottled water (supplied daily), thermostat-controlled air conditioning. Balcony Suites additionally have a lounge area with a full-size sofa, table with 2 armchairs, mini-bar (refrigerator), larger bathroom (with a full-size bathtub), step-out veranda.

Each AmaDahlia cabin is equipped with a 42-inch smart HDTV (local/satellite reception) with Infotainment system (complimentary Internet, on-demand-movies, real-time bridge cam views, ship info channel).
The ship's restaurants include Dining Room Restaurant (deck 3) and The Chef's Table (deck 4, a la carte restaurant with a 7-course menu). Complimentary wine by the glass is served at both dining venues. The 2-deck high Atrium (Lobby Hall) houses the boat's Reception Desk, Cruise Director's Office, Boutique Shop, ship entrances (portside and starboard). Sun Deck (deck 5) is teak-floored throughout and has a swimming pool (forward), two whirlpool hot tubs, sunbathing area (with premium padded loungers and garden daybeds), outdoor lounge (two roof-covered seating areas furnished with padded garden couches and tables) and is served by Sundeck Bar (aft).
Deck 4 is cabin-free and houses the Bar Lounge (fore-located) - the riverboat's main lounge with nightly live entertainment that includes Galabeya party (dressing in traditional Egyptian gowns), Darwish Dance show, Belly Dance show. Also on deck 4 are the Navigation Bridge (Wheelhouse, forward), Outdoor Lounge (canopy-covered aft terrace with seating), The Chef's Table Restaurant (aft-starboard) and the ship's wellness complex - consisting of Fitness (large Gym Room with latest Technogym equipment), Spa (two massage rooms) and Beauty Salon (hairdresser and nail studio).

AmaWaterways Nile cruisetour itineraries
AmaDahlia cruises on Nile River in Egypt, beginning September 2021. The 11-night cruisetour includes 7-night cruising roundtrip from Luxor plus 3-nights pre-cruise and 1-night post-cruise hotel stays in Cairo City - at the 5-star Four Seasons Hotel Cairo FR (First Residence). The hotel package is included in the AmaWaterways Egypt cruise fares.
The 11-day itinerary (themed "Secrets of Egypt and the Nile") also includes (as cruise price-inclusive) domestic flights between Cairo and Luxor, which are operated seasonally (September through May) each year. As optional deals are offered two discount-priced tour extensions pre-Egypt - 3 nights in Dubai or 4 nights in Jordan (Amman City, Petra) and post-Egypt - 4 nights in Israel (Jerusalem).
The new AmaWaterways Nile cruise itinerary provides travellers with an opportunity to travel through the heart of Egypt on a new, top-luxury ship and visit designated by UNESCO sites.
