Princess Cruises ship restarts February, March & April 2022

Princess Cruises announced plans for additional ships restarting service in the USA for February-March-April 2022 sailing from Los Angeles/Long Beach (California), Seattle (Washington), Vancouver (BC Canada), and Port Everglades/Fort Lauderdale (Florida).

Starting between February 13-April 22 cruises onboard 3 additional Princess MedallionClass ships will take travelers to Hawaii, the Caribbean, and the California Coast.

  • Crown Princess, Island Princess, Royal Princess join the 8 fleetmates scheduled to resume operation in 2021, representing 79% of Princess’ ship capacity.
  • On February 13, Crown Princess is joining Majestic Princess and Grand Princess for cruises from Los Angeles to Hawaii and the California Coast. Then, the ship repositions to Seattle WA to sail on a couple of Pacific Northwest Coastal journeys and to Hawaii. Crown Princess adds another Alaska departure with an 8-day Inside Passage voyage with Glacier Bay beginning April 29, 2022.
  • Island Princess sails to the Caribbean starting March 6, 2022, from Fort Lauderdale on a 14-day, 10-day and series of 7-day cruises to the Southern, Eastern & Western Caribbean.
  • Royal Princess offers California Coast sailings from Vancouver beginning April 8, 2022.

According to Deanna Austin, the company's CCO, by April 2022, they would have 11 boats back in service.

Voyages through February 2022 are available for passengers who have received their final dose of an approved COVID vaccine at least 14 days prior to departure and have proof of vaccination.
