Princess Cruises announced the cancellation of all voyages to/from Australia until April 2022, including the company's World Cruise aboard Coral Princess.

In a press release, Princess Cruises cited "the ongoing uncertainty of travel restrictions to the regions on these multi-destination itineraries" as the reason for the cancellations. The cruise line said it would launch replacement Spring 2022 itineraries for the Coral Princess ship.

The 3 affected cruises feature the 28-night Round Australia sailings departing from Sydney on March 16, 2022, and from Brisbane (Queensland Australia) on March 18, 2022; as well as the 35-night Hawaii, Tahiti & South Pacific voyage departing from Sydney (NSW Australia) on April 13; and the 107-night/108-day World Cruise, departing from Auckland (New Zealand) on May 14, from Sydney on May 18, and from Brisbane on May 22, 2022.

Coral Princess' World Cruise was scheduled to visit a total of 47 destinations in 27 different countries.

Princess hopes that from May 2022 onwards, travel to Oceania, the only continent where cruise ships are not yet allowed, will be possible.
