Dream Cruises celebrates 1-year milestone in Singapore with MS World Dream ship

MS World Dream approached the first anniversary of cruise restart in Singapore.

The GHK-owned brand Dream Cruises pioneered safe cruising in Port Singapore and since its inception on November 6, 2020, World Dream has welcomed ~200,000 Singaporeans aboard with 150+ ‘Super Seacations’ (cruises to nowhere) to date.

Bookings for World Dream show a positive trend, as most sailings for the remainder of 2021 are nearly sold out, complemented by strong momentum in the early months of next year.

Within the milestone period, Dream Cruises continues to support Singapore's tourism sector across the tourism networks, including vendors for provisioning/bunkering, engaging cruise ship terminals, travel partners with promotional expenditures, and creating new job opportunities, including for Singapore citizens.

Dream Cruises broke new ground via launching and supporting first-of-a-kind initiatives to revitalize tourism. World Dream became the first Halal-friendly liner in the Asia Pacific to receive certifications from both the UNWHD (United World Halal Development) and the GVCS (Global Vegetarian Certification Services) in December 2020.

The company was also the first line to support and provide a brand new platform on World Dream for select ‘Made with Passion1’ local lifestyle brands in order to showcase their experiences and merchandise.

In its efforts to further boost tourism, Dream Cruises partnered with KrisFlyer for a World Dream chartered voyage exclusively for KrisFlyer members, and the option to earn KrisFlyer miles on the line's packages.
