CCL-Carnival Cruise Line launches week-long travel advisor game “Carnival Playbook”

As part of CCL-Carnival Cruise Line's “Onboard with You” pledge that supports the longstanding commitment to the community of travel advisors, the cruise company launched its week-long game, “Carnival Playbook,” that began on Monday, November 8.

Through the fun and interactive experience, travel advisors are able to play by designing the best cruise for an assigned “client persona” each day. Client personas might include a multi-generational family or a couple on their honeymoon. Travel advisors can match the clients’ designated persona sailing on a Carnival ship to onboard venues they think would fit the client’s wishes.

Giving travel advisors an incentive to get involved and play Carnival Playbook, a total of 500 participants will randomly win a CCL voyage. Each winner is eligible to win just once and will select their desired cruise from an array of vessels and itineraries. The instant prizes will provide eligible travel advisors in the USA, Puerto Rico, Canada (except Quebec), and the UK the chance to experience a CCL vacation and further develop brand knowledge.

The game is already live and will run for 7 consecutive days, concluding on Sunday, November 14. Eligible travel advisors are able to participate in the game daily and can find Carnival Playbook, the rules, and information on GoCCL.com and GoCCL.co.uk.

Building on its pledge, “Onboard with You”, CCL continues to focus on the Why Use a Travel Advisor program, the first consumer-focused program in the industry that reinforces the value of using travel advisors and providing support to attract new clients.
