AIDA Cruise & Help initiative finances a further 5 projects

Silay City & San Carlos in the Philippines, Linganeniddodi & Rollapadu in India, Wadinagala in Sri Lanka, due to the great commitment of AIDA Cruises' passengers and crew, the people of those villages will soon be able to look forward to brand new, urgently needed school buildings.

The "AIDA Cruise & Help" initiative has been able to finance a further 5 projects since the 25th AIDA anniversary and 25 school projects worldwide.

The 3rd and 4th schools in the Philippines are being built in Silay City and San Carlos. With the latest building projects in Linganeniddodi and Rollapadu, the family of AIDA even counts 7 aid projects in India. The school in Wadinagala also marked the beginning of AIDA Cruise & Help engagement in Sri Lanka.

On the occasion of the turn of the year, AIDA Cruises' passengers traditionally have the chance to participate in charitable raffle campaigns during their journey. In this way, they can have the opportunity to win prizes and at the same time support a cause.

AIDA Cruise & Help has been bundling all charitable projects of AIDA Cruises under one roof since 2019. Via cooperation with the Reiner Meutsch Foundation FLY & HELP, this initiative is committed to improving educational opportunities in developing and emerging countries and thus to sustainably improving the prospects of kids and young people in the world's poorest part.
