AmaVida cabins and suites

Most AmaVida cabins are French Balcony staterooms, featuring floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open to a railing. All Suites are additionally fitted with a second floor-to-ceiling window. There are six cabin categories in total, each accommodating up to two guests.

Below is a review of AmaVida staterooms, including furnishings, included amenities, and complimentary services:

Each stateroom is furnished with hotel-style beds (queen or twin, 200 x 160 cm) with plush bedding, generous under-bed and wardrobe storage, individual climate control, and both 220V and 110V outlets.

All passenger cabins feature a private bathroom with a glass-door shower, multi-function showerhead, hairdryer, and premium bath amenities. Additional in-room amenities include a mirrored vanity with a chair, wardrobe, wireless phone, electronic safe (in the closet), two long-range portable Wi-Fi audio devices for use during tours and excursions, complimentary bottled water (replenished daily), and thermostat-controlled air conditioning. Suites further include a lounge area with a full-size sofa, a low table with two chairs, a mini-bar, and a spacious bathroom with a full-size bathtub.

Each cabin is equipped with a 42-inch HDTV offering local/satellite channels and movies on demand, along with an infotainment system that provides complimentary in-room internet access and real-time bridge cam views.

Suites (cabins 319–320 on Porto Deck) feature a full-size open-air balcony separated from the lounge area by sliding floor-to-ceiling doors. Their bathrooms offer a separate WC and shower (no bathtub), along with a double-sink vanity. Additional Suite perks include a Welcome Aboard bottle of wine, daily replenished mini-bar, and fresh fruit.

Balcony cabins feature bathrooms with separate WC and shower, a walk-in closet, an open-air balcony with electronically controlled glass doors (two floor-to-ceiling windows), three closets, and a bathroom with WC, sink, and shower.

Cabins in categories E and D, located on the Douro Deck, have a fixed Porthole Window positioned high on the riverside wall (non-opening).

Complimentary shipwide amenities include:

• Complimentary shore excursions, including guided walking and biking tours (bicycles provided onboard)

All complimentary AmaWaterways excursions—such as guided sightseeing, city tours, and visits to wine estates—are led by local, English-speaking expert guides. Tours in Portugal and Spain are arranged in partnership with DouroAzul, which also operates a fleet of modern luxury travel coaches.
