Avalon Siem Reap deck plans

RV Avalon Siem Reap (built in 2015) is one of two new Avalon Waterways ships operating in Southeast Asia. Cruising along the Mekong River through Vietnam and Cambodia, the Avalon Siem Reap has two sister ships—the identically designed Avalon Saigon (2018, also on the Mekong), and the similarly designed Avalon Myanmar (on the Irrawaddy River in Myanmar). All three riverboats are owned by Myanmar-based Pandaw River Expeditions, Southeast Asia's largest cruise tour operator. These vessels were developed through a partnership/joint venture between Pandaw and Avalon Waterways, with Avalon operating them under long-term charter.

The Avalon Siem Reap cruise ship features a total of 18 staterooms accommodating 36 passengers, served by 24 crew and staff. The vessel has 2 passenger decks, 2 lounges, 1 bar, and 1 restaurant, but no elevators.

Avalon Waterways introduced its signature “Suite Ship” concept to the Mekong River cruise market in Southeast Asia with these vessels. All passenger cabins are spacious and designed with the company's hallmark open-air balconies and wall-to-wall windows, providing guests with uninterrupted views of the exotic scenery along the Mekong itinerary. Public areas are also generously sized and feature floor-to-ceiling windows. Service onboard is of high quality, delivered by professionally trained, English-speaking staff and crew.
