Avalon Saigon deck plans

RV Avalon Saigon (built in 2018) is one of two new Avalon Waterways ships operating in Southeast Asia. Sailing on Mekong River cruises in Vietnam and Cambodia, Avalon Saigon has two sisterships: the identically designed Avalon Siem Reap (2015, also on the Mekong) and the similarly designed Avalon Myanmar (on the Irrawaddy River in Burma). All three riverboats are owned by the Myanmar-based cruise line and Southeast Asia's largest cruise tour operator, “Pandaw River Expeditions.” These vessels were built as a partnership/joint venture between Pandaw and Avalon Waterways, with Avalon operating the ships under charter.

The Avalon Saigon cruise ship deck plan includes a total of 18 staterooms accommodating up to 36 passengers, served by 24 crew and staff. The vessel has 2 passenger decks, 2 lounges, 1 bar, 1 restaurant, and no elevators.

Avalon Waterways’ Mekong River cruise ships introduced the company’s signature "Suite Ship” concept to the Mekong cruising market in Southeast Asia. Featuring oversized staterooms with Avalon's trademark open-air balcony design, all passenger cabins offer expansive wall-to-wall windows, providing guests with panoramic views of the exotic scenery along the Mekong itinerary. Public areas and venues onboard are equally spacious and also feature floor-to-ceiling windows. High-quality service is delivered by English-speaking staff and a professionally trained crew.
