Avalon Myanmar deck plans

RV Avalon Myanmar (built in 2015) is one of the newest Avalon Waterways ships operating in Asia. Sailing on Irrawaddy River cruises in Burma, the Avalon Myanmar has two sister ships with similar designs: the Avalon Saigon (2018, on the Mekong) and the Avalon Siem Reap (2015, on the Mekong). All three riverboats are owned by Myanmar’s largest cruise tour operator, Pandaw River Expeditions, and were built as part of a joint venture between Pandaw and Avalon Waterways. Avalon operates these ships under a charter agreement.

The Avalon Myanmar cruise ship features a deck plan with 18 staterooms accommodating 36 passengers, served by 24 crew and staff. The vessel has three passenger decks, two lounges, one bar, one restaurant, and no elevators.

Avalon Waterways introduced its signature "Suite Ship" concept to the Irrawaddy River with the Avalon Myanmar, bringing this hallmark experience to Southeast Asia's Mekong cruising market. All staterooms are spacious and feature Avalon’s signature open-air balcony design with wall-to-wall windows, offering guests sweeping views of the exotic landscapes along the river. The ship’s public areas are equally spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows throughout. High-quality service is delivered by a professional crew and English-speaking staff.
