Avalon Myanmar cabins and suites

All Avalon Myanmar cabins (100%) are Suite accommodations, each featuring a French Balcony. Every stateroom includes two floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open to a false balcony ("balconet") protected by railings. The ship has a modern design with wall-to-wall windows in all staterooms and public areas. There are two cabin categories available, with a maximum occupancy of two guests per cabin.

Avalon Waterways does not offer any handicap-accessible (wheelchair-friendly) cabins for disabled passengers on any of its riverboats.

Below is a review of the RV Avalon Myanmar staterooms, including furnishings, included amenities, and complimentary services:

• Hotel beds (Comfort Collection with either two twin beds or one king-size bed, 200 x 160 cm), deluxe bedding (premium mattress, Egyptian cotton linens, duvets, woolen blankets, soft/firm pillows), terry bathrobes, slippers, a 3-door closet with shelves, under-bed storage, bedside tables with lamps, individual climate control, and 220V outlets (2-pin plugs).
• Each stateroom includes a large full bathroom (WC/sink) with a separate glass-door shower, hairdryer, premium bath amenities, seating area, mini-bar/fridge, writing desk/vanity with chair, alarm clock, safe, and complimentary bottled water (replenished daily and available during all land tours and excursions). There is no in-room TV or telephone.
• Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the lounges (satellite Internet access is available at an additional cost).
• Complimentary services include laundry, room service (with nightly turndown), and beverages (local spirits, beer, wine, and soft drinks at dinner).
• All Avalon Waterways Asia tours and excursions are complimentary, including sightseeing and walking tours led by certified local guides. Audio headsets are provided, and fresh fruit and soft drinks are served after each land excursion.

All staterooms feature open-air balconies with floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall windows (4.3 m / 14 ft wide) equipped with retractable screen systems and sliding doors (2.7 m / 9 ft opening). Each private balcony includes a seating area with a loveseat, low table, and chair. Comfort Collection Beds (custom-made) are a signature feature of the Avalon Waterways Mekong River cruise experience.
