Avalon Panorama cabins and suites

Most Avalon Panorama cabins (80%) feature a French Balcony. Each of these staterooms includes two floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors opening to a “Juliet” (balconet, also known as a "false balcony"). There are six cabin categories in total, each accommodating up to two guests. Avalon Waterways does not offer any wheelchair-accessible cabins for disabled passengers on any of its riverboats.

Trademarked as “Panorama Suites,” the French Balcony cabins are spread across two full decks. Each suite also features Avalon Waterways’ registered “Open-Air Balcony.” These rooms boast the river cruising industry’s first wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling sliding windows (14 ft / 4 m wide) opening to a balconet. This innovative design allows the entire room to feel like a balcony, while the “indoor balcony” feels like part of the suite.

The most affordable cabins are located on Deck 1 and feature two fixed, non-opening windows placed near the ceiling.

Hotel beds (“Comfort Collection” twin beds convertible to queen, size 200 x 160 cm), ample under-bed storage, luxury bedding sets, Egyptian cotton linens, pillow menu, mattresses with memory foam toppers, duvets and extra blankets, bathrobes, slippers, 3-door closet with shelves, bedside tables with lamps, individual climate control, 220V power outlets (2-pin plugs), and soundproof walls.

Each stateroom includes a spacious bathroom (toilet, sink with marble countertops, large mirror, glass-door shower, granite tiles, premium fixtures, L’Occitane bath amenities, hairdryer), HD flat-screen TV (with satellite reception, movie channels, and webcam views), mini-bar/fridge, writing desk/vanity with armchair, direct-dial phone, alarm clock, safe, and complimentary bottled water replenished daily.

Royal and Panorama Suites also feature a seating area for up to six people (with sofa, coffee table, and armchairs) and a makeup mirror. All suites have French Balcony views.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available shipwide (Internet usage may incur additional charges).

Additional complimentary services include laundry, room service (with nightly turndown), and drinks (regional wine, beer, soft drinks served at dinner). Continental breakfast and beverages can be delivered via room service.

Avalon Waterways also offers complimentary tours and excursions, including “food and wine” themed experiences, cultural and historical guided tours, and leisure activities such as sightseeing and walking tours conducted by certified local guides.
