Avalon Artistry II cabins and suites

Most Avalon Artistry II cabins (78%) feature a French Balcony. Each of these staterooms includes two floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors opening to a “Juliet” balcony (balconet, also known as a false balcony). The ship has six cabin categories, each with a maximum capacity of two guests. Avalon Waterways does not offer any handicap-accessible (wheelchair-friendly) cabins for disabled passengers on its riverboats.

Branded as “Panorama Suites,” the French Balcony cabins are located across two full decks. These staterooms also feature Avalon Waterways’ signature “Open-Air Balcony” design—floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall sliding windows (14 ft / 4 m wide) that open to a balconet, allowing the entire room to feel like a balcony and the "indoor balcony" to feel like part of the room.

The most affordable cabins are located on Deck 1. These accommodations have two fixed (non-opening) windows positioned near the ceiling.

Hotel beds (“Comfort Collection” twin beds convertible to queen, 200 x 160 cm) with ample under-bed storage, luxury bedding sets with Egyptian cotton linens, pillow menu, memory foam mattress toppers, duvets, and extra blankets. Cabins also include bathrobes, slippers, a three-door closet with shelves, bedside tables with lamps, individual climate control, 220V outlets (European 2-pin plugs), and soundproof partition walls.

Each stateroom has a spacious bathroom equipped with a toilet, sink (with marble countertop), large mirror, glass-door shower with granite tiles, premium fixtures, L’Occitane bath amenities, and a hairdryer. Additional in-room amenities include an HD flat-screen TV (with satellite channels, movie options, and ship webcam views), mini-bar/fridge, writing desk/vanity with armchair, direct-dial phone, alarm clock, safe, and complimentary bottled water (replenished daily).

Royal and Panorama Suites offer additional amenities, including a seating area for up to six people (with a sofa, coffee table, and armchairs) and a makeup mirror. All suites have French Balcony views.

Included services comprise complimentary laundry, room service (including nightly turndown), and beverages (regional wine, beer, soft drinks served at dinner). Continental breakfast and beverages can be delivered to staterooms via room service.
