Disney Destiny deck 2 plan (Cabins-Kids)
Deck layout and review

Review of Disney Destiny deck 2 (Cabins-Kids)
Walt Disney Theatre (lower level 1 of 3) is the ship’s main large-scale performance venue, positioned mid-ship and accessed from the Deck 2 corridor. It is part of a multi-level Broadway-style theater with a total capacity of about 1,274 seats. This theater is a central entertainment space on the ship and is designed for live stage productions, film screenings, and interactive events. It is equipped with advanced technical systems such as Dolby Atmos sound and staging effects to support large theatrical performances. Programming typically includes multiple nightly shows with scheduled performance times, along with daytime activities like movies, trivia, and other hosted entertainment. The productions presented in the venue are Broadway-style adaptations and original Disney cruise shows, including titles such as “The Little Mermaid,” “Frozen, A Musical Spectacular,” “Disney Seas the Adventure,” and new productions created specifically for the Disney Destiny. These shows combine live acting, music, projection effects, and stage technology tailored for cruise audiences.
Deck 2’s role within the theater is primarily as a balcony seating area rather than the main entrance or primary seating floor, which is located on a lower deck. It provides an elevated perspective of the stage and is integrated into the ship’s broader layout, sharing the deck with staterooms and family-oriented spaces such as the Oceaneer Club and nursery facilities.
The Oceaneer's "Club" and "Lab" facilities (ages 3-10) are connected, thus doubling the fun space. The "Oceaneer's Club" features the "Andy's Room" (with oversized Disney characters for kids to climb on) and the "Laugh Floor" (with its "laugh-o-meter" and Mike and Sully of "Monsters Inc"). The "Oceaneer's Lab" is maritime-themed, featuring an Animator's Studio and a small Sound Studio. The new Disney approach allows all kids ages 3-10 to access the same clubs with separate rooms and age-related activities.
The Oceaneer Club is currently not available on other Disney ships. Other kids clubs include Marvel Super Hero Academy, Fairytale Hall, Star Wars: Cargo Bay, Hub, Mickey and Minnie Captain's Deck, Imagineering Lab, Small World Nursery (for toddlers 6-months to 3-years-old, with babysitting).
Cruise cabins from 2050 to 2640, which are in categories 11C (Standard Inside) and 9B (Deluxe Oceanview).
