Blue Sapphire deck plans
Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities
Blue Sapphire deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2025-2026-2027 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by ANEX Selectum Blu Cruises (Small Cruise Lines) deckplan pdf (printable version).
Each of the Blue Sapphire cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Blue Sapphire staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
Blue Sapphire (built in 1981 as "Saga Sapphire", last refurbished in 2024) and her fleetmate Saga Pearl 2 were both sold and retired from service, exiting the SAGA UK fleet following the delivery of Saga Cruises' two newbuilds: Spirit of Discovery (2019) and Spirit of Adventure (2020).
The vessel has 12 decks, including 9 accessible to passengers and 8 with cabins. As an older cruise ship, Blue Sapphire features a classic design with non-standard, uniquely sized cabins rather than uniform production-line models.
In August 2019, it was announced that Saga Sapphire would be acquired by ANEX Tours (Turkey's largest travel agency and tour operator), with operations planned to begin in mid-2021. The 39-year-old vessel was officially sold to ANEX Tours on June 18, 2020. Renamed "Blue Sapphire", the ship was scheduled to begin service for ANEX with homeporting in Antalya, Turkey.
