MS Viking Hathor (2024-built) is part of Viking's Egypt fleet, together with Viking Ra (2018) and the sisterships Viking Osiris (2022), Viking Aton (2023), Viking Sobek (2025), Viking Amun (2025), Viking Thoth (2025), Viking Sekhmet (2026), Viking Ptah (2026), Viking Geb (2027), and Viking Anubis (2027).
Unlike Viking Ra (a fully reconstructed older vessel), Hathor’s sisterships are newbuild Nile cruisers, featuring deck designs and venues similar to those found on Viking OCEAN vessels.
Viking Hathor’s deck plans show a total of 41 staterooms across 5 decks (3 with cabins), as well as a Restaurant, Bar Lounge, Foyer (lobby lounge with Reception Desk and two ship entrances on portside and starboard), Shop, Pool Deck (aft infinity pool, shaded seating at the Aquavit Terrace, indoor Bar Lounge, Wheelhouse), and Sundeck (sunbathing area with shaded seating).
One lift (passenger elevator) connects all cabin decks, while all decks are also interconnected via stairs (forward, midship, and aft stairways).
Unlike most large Nile cruisers, this vessel does not feature a wellness complex, which typically includes a spa, relaxation lounge, treatment rooms (for massages), a hair salon (hairdresser/barber services), and a fitness room (small gym).
