Viking Skaga deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2026-2027-2028 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by Viking Cruises France (Viking River Cruises) deckplan pdf (printable version).
Each of the Viking Skaga cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Viking Skaga staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
Viking Skaga (2020-built) is one of the Seine River-deployed Viking River Cruises longships, together with her fleetmates and sisterships Fjorgyn, Kari, Radgrid, Nerthus, and Fjolvar. The riverboat is named after the Valkyrie Skaga. In Norse mythology, the Valkyries (“choosers of the slain,” handmaidens of the god Odin) are horse-riding female figures empowered by the goddess Freya to decide which warriors die in battle and which survive.
Viking Skaga’s deck plan includes a total of 84 staterooms for 168 passengers, served by 46 crew members. The ship has 4 passenger decks (3 with cabins) and 1 glass elevator (connecting the Main and Upper decks only).
The Viking Longship has no self-service laundry facilities (laundromats), swimming pool/whirlpool, or wellness amenities (spa/beauty salon, sauna, fitness/gym room). Passengers may access wellness facilities at luxury hotels along the cruise tour itinerary.
Unlike standard Viking Longships, Skaga also lacks the aft sundeck’s putting green (mini-golf course), herb garden, and deck games area (including shuffleboard).
