Viking Hermod (built 2014) is one of the new generation Viking Cruises France longships. This Saone-Rhone river cruise ship is named after the Norse mythology’s messenger of the gods. Hermod (Hermodr the Brave) is the son of Odin and Frigg, and his brother is Baldur. The name Hermod in Old Norse means “war-spirit”.
Viking Hermod cruise ship deck plan has a total of 95 staterooms for 190 passengers served by 50 crew/staff, 4 passenger decks, 1 glass elevator (connecting Main-Upper decks only). The Viking longship Hermod has no gym, pool/whirlpool or spa. Guests may access health & spa facilities at luxury hotels along the Hermod’s itinerary route.
