Viking Hermod (built 2014) is one of the new-generation Viking Cruises France longships. This Saone-Rhone river cruise ship is named after the messenger of the gods in Norse mythology. Hermod (Hermodr the Brave) is the son of Odin and Frigg, and his brother is Baldur. The name Hermod in Old Norse means “war-spirit”.
Viking Hermod's deck plan includes a total of 95 staterooms for 190 passengers, served by 50 crew and staff, across 4 passenger decks, and 1 glass elevator (connecting the Main and Upper decks only).
