LIDO DECK (8th floor)
Lido Cafe (complimentary buffet restaurant) is the ship’s relaxed, buffet-style restaurant. It offers indoor and outdoor terrace seating with sea views and serves breakfast, lunch and many dinners in an informal atmosphere. Guests can choose from a varied buffet and an outdoor grill, making it a convenient alternative to the ship’s more formal dining venues.
Shuffleboard (deck games areas / portside and starboard)
Indoor and Outdoor Lido Pool area with swimming pool, whirlpool and a bar. The Pool Bar is located right beside the ship’s main seawater swimming pool — a 20 metre pool that can be partially covered by a retractable glass dome (magrodome). The Pool Bar thus serves as a casual and central social spot for guests who are lounging — whether by the pool, on deck chairs, or enjoying the sea-view. During the day the bar offers a selection of refreshing drinks (cocktails, soft drinks, coffee etc.), and in the afternoon, it also serves snacks or treats — a popular highlight among guests are hot waffles with cherries (and other toppings) served poolside. In the evening or later in the day, the Pool Bar continues to offer a laid-back ambience for drinks — giving passengers on board an option that’s more informal and flexible than the ship’s gourmet or formal dining venues.
Auditorium is a modestly sized public venue — it has seating for about 46 guests and serves as a lecture room and in-ship cinema. Throughout a cruise it can be used for educational talks or destination lectures, and for film showings when the schedule calls for it. Because it is located on the Lido/P-Pool Deck among other public amenities (like the pool, library, lounge areas), the Auditorium provides a quieter, indoor option for entertainment and enrichment — a contrast to the more social or active spaces onboard.
Bibliothek (Library) is the ship’s onboard library — a quiet public space where passengers can relax with a book. The Bibliothek offers seating for 13 guests and provides a “wide range of literature,” giving travelers the option to enjoy some reading in a calm and cozy setting in between other onboard activities.
Club Belvedere (disco nightclub / bar lounge) is one of the ship’s main lounge/bar-lounge spaces, situated on Deck 8 (the Lido Deck) near the front (bow) of the ship. It is a panoramic lounge: the large windows and forward position provide impressive sea views that many consider “unsurpassed” even when compared to the view from the ship’s bridge. During the day, Club Belvedere serves as a calm, refined salon-style place where passengers can relax with a drink, enjoy a panoramic view, perhaps read or chat in a tranquil atmosphere. In the evenings or during certain events the lounge may host live music or cultural entertainment — classical concerts or readings by artists — offering a quieter alternative to more lively venues elsewhere on board. With seating for around 177 guests, Club Belvedere combines both comfort and capacity so that guests have enough space without overcrowding, consistent with the overall sense of refined exclusivity the ship aims for. For many travellers on board, it represents a serene, elegant lounge: whether for an afternoon tea or a pre- or post-dinner drink, or simply to appreciate sea views in calm surroundings rather than busier restaurant or bar venues.
