Over 2 years in the making, Emerald Azzurra marked a milestone as the first ocean-going vessel for the small ship cruise line.
Carrying just 100 passengers in 50 deluxe staterooms and suites, Azzurra is sailing the 8-day "Best of the Red Sea" itinerary. Vacationers will call at the Egyptian resort towns Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh, and Eilat in Israel, prior to returning to Aqaba for a guided tour of the UNESCO-listed Petra City.
Emerald Azzurra boasts modern suites and staterooms, 88% of which have balconies. The yacht offers a large infinity pool, gym, spa with infrared sauna, and marina platform, with paddleboards, snorkeling equipment, and SEABOBs. A fleet of the latest in electronic bikes from Gocycle is also available onboard, ideal for village trips and explorations.
Emerald Azzurra will be welcomed to the brand’s fleet with an official christening ceremony in Venice (Italy) before the cruise ship repositions to the Mediterranean and the Adriatic for the 2022 summer season. Azzurra will be joined by sistership Emerald Sakara in February 2023, with brand new itineraries for Emerald Cruises that include Seychelles.
