Network 10 (Australia) and CBS (USA) jointly announced they had ordered localized versions of THE REAL LOVE BOAT reality dating competition series inspired by the hit 1970s scripted series “The Love Boat,” that used Princess Cruises' liners as its setting.
Production begins in summer 2022. Both versions are expected to air in Australia and the United States later in the year.

THE REAL LOVE BOAT brings singles together to cruise the Mediterranean on a luxury cruise ship while looking for love. Destination dates, challenges and surprise singles will test the couples’ compatibility and chemistry. Like the original scripted series, the crew members including “cruise director” and “captain” will play pivotal roles in the navigation of the romantic waters ahead.
After nearly a month at sea, just 1 winning couple will make it to the final cruise port and take home a cash prize along with a once-in-a-lifetime trip courtesy of Princess, the series’ exclusive cruise partner.
