In 2022, MSC Cruises is introducing its highly anticipated MSC World Europa to the fleet.

MSC World Europa (initially announced as "MSC Europa"/currently under construction in France) is the first in a 4-unit "MSC World Class" series of passenger liners designed and built for MSC Cruises. The first vessel (Europa) is scheduled for launch and inauguration in 2022, to be followed by a sistership (still unnamed) launched in 2024. The two optional vessels (if ordered by 2022) will be launched in the years 2025 and 2027.

The newbuild will introduce a new cruising platform boasting onboard hospitality and future-proof marine technologies as well as ground-breaking design. One of the liner's highlights will be the enhanced MSC Yacht Club.

The “ship within a ship” concept is an all-inclusive experience that set a brand new standard of premium cruising when it was introduced back in 2008 by offering passengers privacy as well as being able to enjoy the facilities a bigger ship can offer.

Key highlights of MSC World Europa's Yacht Club include:

  • A reimagined sundeck spanning 2 decks. Guests will now have plenty of space to enjoy the sea views from the front of the cruise ship. The lower deck allows them to unwind and sip a glass of wine from the bar or a bite to eat from the grill. The upper deck is home to a private whirlpool and pool where vacationers can take in the sun on the loungers or one of the elegant private cabanas.
  • 2 new ultra-spacious Owner-Suites totaling 150+m2 between indoor areas and private veranda. These plush suites consist of a double bedroom, featuring a walk-in wardrobe and bathroom complete with a full-size imperial bathtub connecting to a separate living-dining area all in light due to floor-to-ceiling windows. The VIP experience is complete with a spacious balcony with an alfresco dining area and a whirlpool bath.
  • Double-balcony Duplex Suites are 2-deck suites that offer a whole floor dedicated to relaxation with a  lounge, dining area, and guest washroom. Upstairs, the main bedroom features its own bathroom, complete with a bathtub. The special duplex suites offer 2 private sundecks, of which the lower one offers a private whirlpool bath, seating, and lounge area, while the upper deck is for sunbathing with comfortable loungers.
  • Dedicated massage rooms. Passengers staying in the MSC Yacht club will now have access to exclusive massage rooms in the MSC Aurea Spa, along with unlimited use of the thermal area.
