The new travel brand Resorts World Cruises (2022-established) announced that it will be the first company to add a Kuala Lumpur Malaysia (Port Klang) as homeport for Genting Dream - starting July 18th, in addition to Singapore, which homeporting started on June 15th.

With the dual homeport options, vacationers can now choose to embark from Klang/Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.

2-night sailings from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore are scheduled to depart on Thursdays/Saturdays and 3-night voyages from Kuala Lumpur to Penang/Singapore will depart on Mondays, with fares starting at Ringgit 688/Ringgit 988 respectively.

Departure days from Singapore remain the same on Wednesdays/Fridays/Sundays, and from July 22 onwards, Friday sailings will re-introduce the 2-night High Seas Weekend Getaway (cruises-to-nowhere).

The dual homeport was specially designed to further cater to the demand for roundtrips, targeting the 10M population residing in central Peninsular Malaysia, who live within a short drive of the homeport Klang. With the international gateway of the Kuala Lumpur Airport (located nearby), international tourists will now have flexibility in their choice of airlines and fares.

Resorts World Cruises will also launch one-way voyages that will become an alternative to air & land travel for the millions of travelers between Singapore-Kuala Lumpur, including to Penang Island.
