On June 15, Resorts World Cruises celebrated a double milestone with a maiden voyage as a new cruise line and the inaugural voyage of Genting Dream from her homeport in Singapore, welcoming passengers onboard for the first time.

This marked the start of Resorts World Cruises’ premiere as a new Asian luxury & dynamic lifestyle cruise brand, introducing its flagship – the first of a planned fleet ‘Resorts Cruising At Sea’.

As early as July 1, 2022, Resorts World Cruises will become the first line to sail from Singapore to Indonesia, offering a 2-night Bintan and Batam Islands "Weekend Getaway Cruise". Genting Dream will subsequently sail from Singapore to Malaysia with 2- and 3-night roundtrips to Klang/Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia Selangor), Malacca Malaysia (via Port Dickson), and Pulau Penang Island (Georgetown, Malaysia Penang).

Beginning this October, Resorts World Cruises will add a series of brand new itineraries with more destinations to Indonesia (North Bali, Surabaya), Malaysia (Langkawi), and Thailand (Phuket, Krabi).

These feature a wide array of international food & beverages, entertainment, performances, spas, thematic cruises, activities, and more.

The 2016-built MS Genting Dream was the first vessel in the fleet of the Chinese premium brand Dream Cruises (Genting Hong Kong/GHK-owned subsidiary company launched in November 2015). Since May 2022, Genting Dream operates for the new Chinese brand Resorts World Cruises.
