1 million CCL-Carnival Cruise Line passengers have now utilized “VeriFLY” by Daon, a secure/free travel app allowing vaccinated passengers to easily submit health screening information.
Ron Dillehay, Carnival’s vice president of guest marketing & technology said that helping 1M people to simplify the process of starting their vacation was a great milestone to reach, but it was no surprise the majority of their guests had taken to using VeriFLY so quickly.
"They see the benefit immediately as they save a significant amount of time at the port and get on board faster.”
Since making the new app available fleetwide in March 2022, Carnival became the largest cruise company to implement VeriFLY.
Carnival’s Brand Ambassador John Heald recently asked passengers about their experiences using the app, and thousands responded positively.
VeriFLY is available in the App Store/Google Play. After passengers download the app, they can search for Carnival and complete the required steps. They'll be asked to submit required documentation like vaccination status and COVID test results. When the process is finished, a VeriFLY pass will be issued in the app in order to present during embarkation.
