Adventures by Disney announced its Europe 2024 river cruise season.
With a total of 22 departures scheduled, Disney travelers can once again experience the beauty of European landscapes with voyages on the rivers Rhine, Danube, and Seine (France). Each of the itineraries offers Disney's signature storytelling with hassle-free travel and attention to every detail provided by Disney-trained Adventure Guides.
The new "Danube River Cruise: Magical Holidays" itinerary in 2024 marks the first time the guided group travel company offers a themed river cruise during the New Year's holiday. Passengers will sail on the Danube in a beautifully designed riverboat, ring in the new year with a champagne toast, and explore famous sites across Germany, Austria, and Hungary.
Bookings open to the public on January 20th, 2023.
In late December 2024, Adventures by Disney guests will board the ship in Munich (Germany) and will be greeted with an authentic German welcome featuring oompah music. The vessel will transport guests to Austria where they can enjoy privately guided tours in Mondsee with spectacular views of the Austrian Alps, a visit to Melk Abbey, and more.
After the Christmas holiday, Vienna's Schonbrunn Palace transforms its traditional Christmas Market into a New Year's Market where tourists can experience the beauty of a European winter. The voyage continues with onboard/in-town activities, along with ice skating in Vienna (Austria) before heading to Hungary for carriage rides, enriching tours, and making and eating goulash.
Returning favorites join the lineup for 2024, including the Oktoberfest and Christmas Markets river cruises, as well as the popular Food & Wine sailings that feature delectable meals and beverages local to the region.
