MSC Magnifica cruise ship to make 26 stops in Port Tarragona (Spain)

At FITUR (Feria Internacional de Turismo-Ifema Madrid) on Thursday, January 19th, Tarragona Cruise Port presented Tarragona City as an excellent Mediterranean cruise tourism destination.

The Port announced an agreement with MSC Cruises for 26 stopovers in Tarragona by MSC Magnifica ship during season 2023.

The announcement was made at 11 am at FITUR by the manager of the Tarragona-Costa Daurada Provincial Government Tourism Board, Marta Farrero; Tarragona Tourism manager Victor Franquet; State Ports corporate director Pilar Parra; and the general manager for MSC Cruises in Spain, Fernando Pacheco.

With this announcement, Tarragona is due to become the embarkation city/homeport for MSC Magnifica during the 2023 season.

The liner will operate a 7-night Western Mediterranean itinerary (roundtrip from Tarragona) visiting Toulon (France), Genoa-Milan (Italy), Civitavecchia-Rome (Italy), Livorno-Pisa (Italy), and Valencia (Spain).
