Cruise Lines International Association/CLIA UK & Ireland has officially announced a strategic collaboration with All Nippon Airways (ANA) in a significant move within the maritime industry.

ANA has committed to sponsoring two key events on the maritime calendar: the CLIA Destination Showcase, slated to transpire from October 6th to 8th in the charming city of Porto, and the annual Cruise Forum, set to unfold on December 19th.

Within the CLIA Destination Showcase, ANA will assume the role of sponsor, with a dedicated networking stand at the cruise trade fair. Their brand presence will be prominently featured in various aspects of the event, including collateral materials, on-screen displays during conference sessions, and across all associated marketing materials and digital platforms.

Showcase participants will be graciously hosted on the luxurious Norwegian Prima, with opportunities for additional visits to luxury and river ships. The trade fair, uniting all sponsors, will be held within the cruise terminal at the scenic Porto-Leixoes in Matosinhos. Attendees will also have the pleasure of partaking in a welcoming dinner and choosing from a selection of excursions in and around Portugal's captivating Porto City.

At the CLIA Cruise Forum, ANA will maintain a networking presence with similar branding prominence. This event, considered a cornerstone in the travel industry's annual agenda, offers a comprehensive one-day conference alongside invaluable one-on-one networking opportunities for esteemed travel agents, agency managers, owners, and media representatives.

Both of these significant maritime gatherings will welcome ANA delegates, ensuring their brand receives extensive exposure through various marketing channels, including a dedicated partner page on CLIA's website.

Julie Murphy, Country Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland at ANA, expressed her enthusiasm for the sponsorship, citing Japan's successful reopening to international travelers and their desire to collaborate with industry members to foster growth in the cruise sector.

Andy Harmer (CLIA UK & Ireland's Managing Director) highlighted the significance of ANA's support as a fly-cruise partner, emphasizing Japan's popularity as a cruise hub and the potential for ANA to strengthen its brand presence in the UK and Ireland markets.

ANA, renowned as Japan's largest 5-star airline, serves over 45 destinations across the nation, providing seamless connectivity for European travelers to Tokyo and beyond. With its long-standing membership in the Star Alliance and key joint venture partnerships with notable carriers such as United Airlines, Lufthansa German Airlines, Swiss International Air Lines, and Austrian Airlines, ANA stands poised to contribute significantly to the maritime landscape.
