MSC Cruises has announced that its upcoming flagship, MSC World Asia, will raise the standard of onboard entertainment when it embarks from the Mediterranean in December 2026.

As the third vessel in the World Class series, World Asia features design cues inspired by Asia's rich culture and landscapes, purpose-built to deliver immersive experiences to guests of all ages.

The vessel will arrive in ports like Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia (Rome), Messina, Naples, and Valletta on 7-night sailings between winter 2026-2027 and summer 2027, combining classic Mediterranean routes with MSC’s evolving entertainment architecture.

Among the most anticipated attractions is The Clubhouse, a retro-themed family venue featuring interactive activities such as bumper cars, roller skating, basketball, classic table games, and a LEGO family zone. The space is designed to transition seamlessly into an energetic evening social setting.

Luna Park, already well-known aboard MSC’s World Class fleet, will return with a comprehensive redesign. Extending across two decks, the venue will host high-energy game shows, themed parties, DJ events, and immersive performances enhanced by wraparound LED screens, ceiling projections, dynamic lighting, and sound.

The expansive outdoor area known as The Harbour receives an Asian redesign for this ship. It includes the Cliffhanger, a swing ride suspended over the ocean at 50+ meters—making MSC World Asia the only ship in Europe to offer the attraction. The Tree of Life @ The Spiral, the longest dry slide at sea, will descend 12 decks in just seconds from a pagoda-inspired platform. Additional family amenities include a high ropes course, splashing water slides, playgrounds, and a casual Harbour Bar & Bites featuring complimentary snacks.

For daytime sophistication and illuminated evening ambiance, the Panorama Lounge will offer panoramic views with live acoustic performances, dance classes, cocktail hours, and cabaret-style entertainment on a spacious deck-level dance floor.

The World Theatre, MSC's signature stage venue, will present nightly shows—including musicals, concerts, and acrobatic performances—with multiple time slots to accommodate guest schedules.

At the heart of the ship, the World Promenade will feature open-air entertainment and dining, including light shows, live music, karaoke-style dance showcases, a LEGO Parade, sports bar viewing, and sweet treats at Sweet Temptations and Promenade Bites.

From a maritime standpoint, MSC World Asia presents a grand evolution in shipboard entertainment—a vessel with more venues, interactive architecture, and cultural themes than ever before in MSC’s fleet. Its deployment from December 2026 marks an ambitious step forward in destination cruising and onboard hospitality.
