Port Bilbao (Spain) has scheduled 20 cruise ship visits this September (booked berthings), which is a new record for the port in terms of vessels visiting in a single month.
September's cruise arrivals kicked off with Disney Dream, making her maiden call to Bilbao. MSC Fantasia also marked her inaugural visit to the port on September 6th, coinciding with the arrival of Windstar's ship Star Legend.
On September 7th, Norwegian Gem embarked on a roundtrip cruise from Bilbao, making stops in France, the Netherlands, the UK, Belgium, Portugal, and Spain. The ship is scheduled to return to Bilbao on September 19th before departing for Civitavecchia-Rome Italy, on the same day. Throughout the month, vessels from RSSC-Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Azamara, Celebrity, AIDA, and Silversea are also scheduled to visit the port.
In total, the Port of Bilbao is set to host 80 cruise ships in 2023, highlighting its growing importance as a cruise destination.
