MSC Fantasia, a prominent vessel in the MSC Cruises fleet, is presently undergoing a comprehensive drydock refurbishment at the Palumbo Shipyard in Malta.

The vessel commenced drydocking activities on September 25th, 2023, at the Palumbo Shipyard in Malta, where it underwent a thorough regimen of routine maintenance, classification updates, and interior enhancements. With the scheduled completion date rapidly approaching, MSC Fantasia is poised to return to the seas in prime condition.

The shipyard stay is slated to conclude during the night of October 11th to 12th, 2023. This timing is of utmost importance as it enables MSC Fantasia to reach Genoa Italy in time for her scheduled departure on October 13th, 2023, for her next voyage. This refurbishment period offers an extensive window of over a week to carry out various technical upgrades and revitalize the ship's interior spaces.

During the summer of 2023, MSC Fantasia was homeported in Kiel Germany, where she offered Northern Europe cruises traversing the Baltic Sea, Norway, and Iceland.

Following the dry dock refurbishment, the ship will recommence guest operations on October 13th. Initially, MSC Fantasia will offer short 4- and 5-day Western Mediterranean voyages.

Starting from October 28th, 2023, MSC Fantasia will embark on week-long winter voyages in the Western Mediterranean, departing from Barcelona. This itinerary will include call ports in Italy, encompassing Genoa, La Spezia, and Naples, along with stops in Palma de Mallorca, and a return to Barcelona.
