Oceania Cruises has revealed that its extensively refurbished ship, the 1250-passenger ship Riviera, will embark on its inaugural Alaskan season in the summer of 2025.

This move positions Riviera as a key player in exploring the scenic wonders of Alaska while emphasizing immersion in local communities and culinary excellence.

The ship will visit iconic seaports and destinations such as Ketchikan, Sitka, Kodiak, Hubbard Glacier NP, offering itineraries spanning from 7 to 12 days.

For those eager to explore Alaska's natural beauty and unique culture, the cruise line will provide an extensive selection of nearly 300 shore excursions, complemented by the MORE value proposition. This package includes a generous shore excursion credit of up to $1,600, complimentary roundtrip airfare, airport transfers, Champagne, wine, specialty dining, unlimited WiFi, and more, delivering exceptional value in luxury cruising.

Alaska's allure lies in its breathtaking wildlife encounters, stunning vistas, and surprises at every turn, from the awe-inspiring Hubbard Glacier to the offbeat charm of Dutch Harbour.

Alaska's culinary scene is also a highlight, with Oceania introducing a new series of Culinary Discovery Tour for Riviera's 2025 season. These tours, available in Juneau, Ketchikan, and Sitka, offer immersive culinary experiences that showcase Alaska's thriving food culture.
