Celebrity Cruises has unveiled the entertainment lineup for their upcoming vessel, Celebrity Ascent, the 4th ship in the Edge class. The onboard entertainment will include three new theatre shows: "Awaken," a performance centered around dreams; "Residency," a production inspired by iconic Las Vegas residencies featuring artists like Elvis, Lady Gaga, and Bruno Mars; and "Bridges," a show exploring human connections against the backdrop of some of the world's most famous bridges.
During "Ascent After Dark: Shine the Night," passengers are encouraged to wear metallic clothing as they enjoy a nightlife experience on the ship's Resort Deck, where a prism light show and DJ set will take center stage.
In the innovative venue known as Eden, acrobats, singers, and dancers will put on three interactive shows that include games and music. In The Club, passengers can listen to live jazz music or immerse themselves in a performance with an old Hollywood theme titled "Smoke & Ivories."
Scheduled to enter service in December, the ship will also offer various gaming and interactive activities, such as the 80s-inspired competition "Game On: Augmented Multiplayer Experience," a singalong party called "Guilty Pleasures," and sketch art classes for those looking to explore their creative side.
