A resident of Indiana is facing legal repercussions in South Florida following allegations of molesting a teenage girl during a Carnival cruise.

Jason LeFavour, 44, hailing from Indianapolis, was apprehended by authorities on Friday subsequent to the return of the Carnival Conquest to PortMiami.

Miami-Dade Police Department reports indicate that LeFavour allegedly made physical contact with a 13-year-old girl on the ship's 3rd deck ~9:00 p.m. Thursday (March 28th), specifically grabbing her left buttock.

Detailing the incident, law enforcement stated, that the victim disclosed that she felt an aggressive hit, prompting her to turn around and request security assistance.

Through investigative efforts, authorities were able to identify LeFavour as the individual in question.

During questioning, LeFavour purportedly informed detectives that he had no recollection of the incident due to intoxication.

Consequently, he was arrested on charges of lewd and lascivious molestation of a child.

Court records from Miami-Dade reveal that LeFavour was released on a US$2,500 bond following a determination of probable cause by a judge.
