RCI-Royal Caribbean International has announced that its forthcoming vessel, Star of the Seas, scheduled to commence operations from Port Canaveral in August 2025, will introduce an extensive array of entertainment and dining experiences.

As the second unit from the ICON Class series, Star OTS aims to enhance the travel experience with innovative performances and culinary options.

The onboard entertainment lineup includes five signature productions spanning stage, air, water, and ice. A notable addition is Back to the Future: The Musical, marking its debut at sea. This adaptation of the classic film will feature live music, choreography, and special effects, aiming to provide guests with a dynamic theatrical experience.

Additional performances include Create, a Royal Theater production centered on a robot named KRE-8 exploring creativity through various art forms. The AquaTheater will present Pirates & Mermaids, combining dance, artistic swimming, and diving in a family-friendly narrative. Another AquaTheater show, Torque, will showcase athletic artists, synchronized swimmers, dancers, and slackliners in a high-energy performance. The Absolute Zero ice arena will feature SOL, an ice show following the sun's path, complete with intricate stunts and visuals.

Culinary offerings on Star OTS will include over 40 dining and drinking venues. The AquaDome Market, exclusive to the Icon Class, will feature five food stands, introducing three new concepts: Pig & Anchor Smokehouse, offering smoked pulled pork and beef brisket; Mai Thai, serving Southeast Asian dishes like pad thai and beef panang; and La Cocinita, providing South American staples such as empanadas and arepas.

The Central Park neighborhood will debut the Lincoln Park Supper Club, a dining experience inspired by 1930s Chicago, pairing multi-course meals with live jazz music. Other dining options include Chops Grille for premium cuts, Izumi Hibachi & Sushi for Japanese cuisine, and the Celebration Table, a private dining venue suitable for special occasions.

Star of the Seas will operate 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, including stops at Royal Caribbean's private bahamian island destination CocoCay.

Starting in December 2025, the ship will also visit the Royal Beach Club on Paradise Island, offering varied beach experiences.
